The Inn was lovely. Location fantastic. Two blocks from downtown. My sister had difficulty with the clawfoot tub/shower combo as there were no bars for her to maintain balance. I had not asked for this information prior to booking. The breakfasts were fabulous. Our hosts were gracious and made us feel at home. I would definitely recommend this Inn and stay there again if the occasion arose.

We had never been to Mt.Dora and decided to celebrate my husband’s birthday with a weekend getaway there. From the fabulous bed and breakfast, the walkable downtown area to the gorgeous weather (bonus) we couldn’t have had a better experience. The Adorable Adora Inn made the trip extra special! The hosts Arthur and John and their two beautiful dogs made us feel very much at home. Quiet and beautifully decorated with Arthur’s paintings and our spacious room (olive room) and amazing homemade with love breakfast each morning, superb! The Inn is located close to the community center and the downtown area. Easily walkable. Arthur and John gave us excellent food and drink recommendations which we took and were not disappointed. So many places to find good food and drinks. We did take an hour pontoon boat ride on the lake as well as visiting many shops in the downtown area. We met several interesting and friendly people who were also staying at the Inn. Another bonus You won’t be disappointed if you choose to stay at the Adora Inn while visiting Mt. Dora.

If you are looking for a modern, hi-tech vacation, Adora Inn is not for you. If you are seeking a calm, quiet and cool respite from the heat of a Mt. Dora summer day, while being located in the very heart of all that is Mt. Dora, then you’ll find it in the Adora Inn. From the ridiculously (and delicious) gourmet breakfasts to the charming old South decor, to the personal artwork and wonderful squeaky stairs, Adora Inn will welcome you with open arms. Its owners, John and Arthur, are pleasant and gracious, and the dogs are well trained and beautiful. Have a great time. We did.

The owners were extremely friendly and accommodating. They made the most delicious and unique breakfast. You definitely get the feel that they are extremely hospitable and care about their guests.

The Adora Inn was charming and very convenient to shops and restaurants. John and Arthur were gracious hosts providing recommendations for restaurants and activities in town. A delicious breakfast was served each morning on the enclosed front porch. Thank you John and Arthur. We hope to return in the future.
